Charles Tassin
Portrait
Charles Tassin has developed a very personal approach to decoration, convincingly and tastefully playing with the paradox of Neo classicism.
Alchemist of Decoration, he crosses eras to better conjugate them.
The designer and decorator shows a strong attachment to 20th century Decorative Arts. As a connoisseur of arts and crafts, he restructures the spaces, alters the perspectives, while respecting the history of the places with a great sense of modernity.
His attention to light, texture and details, as well as a keen sense of luxury and a certain way of life, keeps him away from today’s Minimalism. Thanks to Charles, we rediscover the relaxed and glamorous signature of French-style elegance.
His agency
He invests le 23 rue de Lille in 2012 and inaugurates the Galerie MAY created with Maylis Queyrat. In this Gallery of Decorative Arts where they exhibit their creations of furniture, he imposes with audacity a new aesthetic bias.
Then, in 2015 he moves his Interior Design Agency at 34 rue de Lille, sophisticated walls, lacquer, draperies, thick carpet, subtle lighting alongside works of eclectic artists who give the place a very personal atmosphere, both sensual and so chic.
